Al Marschke, the founder
originally from Erie, Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Gannon University in 1987. He started his professional career in television at WJET in Erie in 1985. In 1988, he moved to Pittsburgh to work at channel 4 as the technical director for the evening news. In 1996 Al created his company, BluMars Media, a company specializing in content creation and marketing. In 2001, he left WTAE to dedicate his full attention to his current company, BluMars Media. Since its inception, BluMars Media has earned more that 30 awards for a broad range services for his clients. Al also spent 8 years with the Pittsburgh Steelers producing a weekly TV show called “Steelers Digest”. In addition, he produced a weekly TV show called “In the Locker Room with Tunch and Wolf”. One of his current and more prominent clients is the Pittsburgh Pirates where he creates internal training videos and content for the marketing department along with social media content for the team. Al is also a fully-insured, FAA certified commercial drone pilot.
Al serves on the Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber of Commerce and lives in Franklin Park with his wife Alison and daughter, Caroline.
